I want to make you aware of a PayPal scam that has recently been brought to my attention.
There is an email being sent from a scam company, pretending to be PayPal, and I am sad to say, using our company name and contact details.
The emails are designed so people will click a link which takes them to a fake website that looks very much like PayPal so they will enter their usernames and passwords to their accounts.
If you do receive an email from PayPal, please check the following:
1. Does it address you by name?
2. Does it have your shipping address?
3. Has the email originated from service@paypal.com
4. Do you remember making this purchase?
If you can answer 'no' to any or all of them, it is most likely to be a scam email. Please do not click on any links in the email or disclose any of your personal details.
If you would like to check the status of your PayPal account, please post the URL link www.paypal.com directly into your browser.
