Why have you removed organza bags from orders?

Our beautiful organza bags used to be a feature of our delivery service to package up your craft supplies. Some of our customers loved them and used them as gift bags and project bags. We loved them too, until we realised that by sending out organza bags in volume, as standard with every order, we were contributing to a negative impact on our beloved planet, as not all makers can use them in this way. 

As clothing and fabric piles high on mountains of waste textiles every day, and production pollutes the waterways, we made the decision to stop our automatic inclusion of organza bags in orders to reduce waste, and give you the option to purchase them at checkout.

It’s a small change, but it’s an important one. 

If you still need one, perhaps for a perfect project holder, gift wrap or yarn protector, you can add one to your order, for a small price.
