Fabric can sometimes stretch during sewing, and it’s not always noticeable until you’ve sewn a few rows together - thats a lot of unpicking when things go wrong!
Reduce the time spent unpicking stitches by following these easy steps:
- join 2 squares together and sew a few stitches along the intersection
- move on to the next intersection and do the same
- open the joined rows to check if the seams are straight. If not, you don’t have as much unpicking to do!
- If they are straight, you can go back and sew the rest of the row up to the intersections
Take your time and don’t rush it!
